Clear rum distilled from molasses. Aged at least 1 year.

The clean white rum from Bacardi. This rum has been distilled to a high purity, aged and then charcoal filtered to give it a light clean taste. In the islands, I mix this rum with coconut water and bitters or, if I don’t have bitters, a slice of lime. Also known as Carta Blanca.

Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.

Bacardi Superior White Rum is a direct descendant of the original rum which Facundo Bacardi produced back in 1862. Although production methods have undoubtedly changed since then, the Bacardi White Rum is still produced using a method of oak barrel aging (for one to two years) and charcoal filtration.
