Gold rum distilled from fermented molasses. Blend of rums at least 12 years old aged in used whisky and bourbon barrels.
Montecristo is distilled and blended in Guatemala by the same people that produce Zacapa rums. The initial nose has a light floral approach over a deeper roasted nut aroma. The first taste is smooth with a delicately balanced mature body of toasted coconut, ripe black berry and smoky vanilla followed by a well-rounded mellow and slightly viscous finish.
Bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.
There are 3 sugar cane spirits bottled by Montecristo Rum.
