Default Don Rhon Gran Reserva

Howdy Folks,
I have sitting in front of me a bottle of Don Rhon Gran Reserva 700ml - Dominican Rum.
The bottle itself is in the shape of a barrel, no insignia or label is on the bottle, but the top is encased in wax with a leaflet/cardlike that reads all in Spanish.
The address looks like this:
Envejecido y producido por Vinicola del Norte S.A.
Puerto Plata, Rep.Dom.
Cet. Ind 11766 Licoreria No.29

I haven't a clue what I have here. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Well, they have a website, and by the looks of it they make a whole host of products:

http://www.vinicola.com.do/

Go to "Catalogo", then "Productos Nacionales", then "Destilados". There's no info but there is a photo of the rum in question (bottom row, second from right).

And by chance, I stumbled upon this thread:

Yes... definitely not my favorite rum. Very nice bottle, but the alcohol smell is very strong. There are so many other better Dominican rums.

But, I recently posted that is does a great job at giving a punch in a Coke.
