Default Ron Matusalem 23YO

I just acquired a bottle of the Matusalem 23YO and was wondering if anybody had any experience with this rum before I open it?

Is that Matusalem 23 year old or 23 blender?

It is a Gran Solera Blender as the 15 and 18 are.
I tried it only once since I own it and it was absolutely fantastic.
Much more complexity and depth than the 15, nice sweetness, which isn't overwhelming and lightly spirit. I guess this is one of my favourites as it isn't too expensive (paid 40€).

Did you try it? Over here, a new big supermaket opend a few days ago. I had a look and the only rum they have (except the usual stuff) was Mathusalem 15 (which is available in some shops) and Mathusalm 23 (which I saw for the first time). It is 50 €, that's the price I pay when I order it online. Is it worth a try as a sipper?

I bought it today. I think it is a little bit harsher than the Zacapa 23 but similar in sweetness. Something between Zacapa and Mathusalem 15. I only hat a first try. Usually it takes a while until I start to like a new rum.
