It is so new that it is not on there. It so new and limited that I was just trying to give my friend here a heads up so they didn't miss the chance to get some if they were interested.

UPDATE: The info is up-- http://pmspirits.com/ron-navazos-palazzi/

I like to try new things as much, or more, than anyone I know, but when I follow the link above I see

without trying to cast any disparity on this bottling, really?
You are going to tell me that this was distilled in a column still but not where it came from? Not even a country?
And you're going to tell me that this rum was aged, but not how long, either at the distillery or in Spain.

Personally, I find these kinds of things offensive to consumers who want to know more about the spirits in their glass, not less. If you aren't going to tell me anything about the rum, why not just tell me you want my steal my money based on an unidentified spirit.

It is generally accepted that aging at anything less than 50% ABV does little to actually mature the spirit in the barrel. This sounds like someone diluted the rum they put in the sherry casks. But why not tell us how long it was aged in some of these barrels?

Am I crazy for asking a bit more of producers? In my judgment telling consumers more about what you do only improves the marketability of a product.

I see your point Ed and to be honest this is probably more my fault.
I was so excited when I heard about this rum I announced it to everyone that I understand feels as passionately about spirits as I do. Without going to far, if you look at any of the other PM Spirits, in particular the Navazos Pallazi offering there is much more detail given than %99.999999 percent of any spirit in the market. The few and notable exceptions include Single Barrels Bottles usually whisky, but expanding to include rum, cognac, brandy, gin etc..

So I mentioned this in earnest, before it was to market. That enthusiasm cause that process to be rushed. So because of the onslaught of interest in this rum and the confusion that it wasn't posted on the PM Spirit website, I asked my friend to throw up quick link, so that a general idea could be shared.

That being said, maybe, when under "Description", it say: ("coming soon, waiting for official Tasting notes") . . . Well gosh and by shucks maybe that what he means.

So blame me. For wanting my friends to know about and have a chance at something that is limited. Or blame me for rushing my friend to put up a simple reference page to his product before he was quite prepared to.

Well I got my bottle of RON Navazos Palazzi . . .I have had my minimum 4 sessions before review, and I have wrote a review on my blog . . .

The long & short of it . . .AMAZING.

but here is the blog link: RON Navazos Palazzi, http://adrinkwithforrest.blogspot.co....html?spref=tw

The funnier thing is I am having some now and . . . woo hoo!

To describe it the best way to say it is like tasting a moment.
And Goethe said it perfectly: "The right man is the one who seizes the moment."

I will be so brazen as to include women into this group because I am hopeful that Goethe intended "human".

Happy Sunday all!

Forrest it is nice to hear from you. I read your review and it got me interested. Do you think there's any chance this product is available in Florida? I'll be there for two weeks in February.

Ben, I am sorry that I didn't see the question. So busy sometime I miss life.
Let me know where you are going to be and I can find out if it available -not Canada-as far as I know.
