Default John K here

Split my time between the Pacific Northwest and Key West in the winters. Mainly a Captain Morgan drinker, but fond of many of the other fine spiced rums. Just came back from a sail to Cuba (crewed the great 74' topsail schooner Wolf, flagship of the Conch Republic Navy) and enjoyed some Havana Club while there.

Default Hello

I'm interested in good quality alcohol. Especially cognacs and single malts. Unfortunately I'm a rum noob and I hope I will develop more knowledge about the art of rum making and rum drinking

Default Hello!

Hi, I'm Christoffer and I live in the small country Denmark in Europe.
I started getting into cocktails a little while ago and in that way progressed into collecting a lot of different spirits. I find rum one of the most interesting and I also love Tiki cocktails, so that's why I am here now.

This is my first post. Just back from my first Caribbean Cruise, tired the rums and fell in love with Mount Gay XO. Joined to learn more about other rums out there.

Default Hello!

Hello! I've just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Tom, and I've been a lover of rum for a few years now. I think it's one of the most under-appreciated spirits out there. So many different flavors and types, what's not to love?

Last year I opened a small distillery just outside of Seattle, WA, and one of our primary focuses is on making rum. We use traditional methods, and have a still modeled after an old Jamaican pot still with two retorts (with some modern twists). If you are ever out this way, come by, say hi, and have a taste... I do love to chat with other rummers.

Thanks for having me!

Default Hello!

Google brought me to your page, and it looks like the experts are all here. I joined this page looking for some help. A relative of mine has a bottle of 25 Year Old Wray & Nephew's Finest Commemorative Jamaica Rum (1962-1987). I've been searching for a valuation of it and have been finding it difficult to come across accurate information. If anyone here has info about the bottle and knowledge of someone who might be interested in purchasing it, please let me know!

Pics are attached.
