Default Banks XM 10 year old

This rum has been recommended to me and i believe its very good.
Anybody tried it? What are your thoughts?

It may have been my recommendation. In my top 5 rums in the world and everyone I know who's tried it has been blown away. It's aged in sherry casks as I recall...

Banks XO Royal Gold Demerara Rum comes from Guyana, produced by Banks DIH distillers. I believe it was once marketed as Liquid Gold. The Demerara region was believed by early Spanish explorers to be the location of El Dorado, the mythical city of gold; still considered by many to be the most beautiful place on earth.

Robert, sorry to inform you but Banks DIH do not have a distillery. Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL), the home of El Dorado, has the only distillery in Guyana. We are the only producers of authentic Demerara rum. Antone who sells Demerara rum has purchased same from us.
