Hi Helena,
I'm a new member too and in England, just over the Water from you...
Seems fairly quiet at the moment herethough... Which rums do you like?
Regards,
Craig

Hi, thanks for the welcoming! Well, I have not yet tried enough rums to have a fav..I`m quite new to rums even though I drank it as a teenager..But I like the El Dorado 15 year demerara and I have a passion for dark rums. Right now I enjoy a drink with Jamaican Lemon Heart, fresh orange and lime juice, passionfruit syrup, some home made simple syrup and falernum and a dash of Angostura bitters..and lots of crushed ice. A nice drink to relax with after this weeks work!

Welcome to the forums, this weekend is Thanksgiving so a lot of the American forum members are visiting, eating and drinking with family.
Thank you for introducing yourself.

Hello! As new on rums I have no favorite yet..there are so many more to try..something I really look forward to do. But one rum I like is the El Dorado 15.
I have a preference for rums that are dark and full bodied and I like to make tiki drinks because I like drinks that are complex, has fresh ingredients and where the rum taste comes through.

El Dorado 15 works in tiki drinks but don't overlook their 12 and 5 year old rums as well in cocktails.
