Default English Harbour 10 and 25 year old

While in London in October I had the pleasure to seeing Sharon Green from Antigua. She'd been telling me about these rums longer than it took to add them to the database.

Before you ask where you can buy this in the US, you can't. It isn't imported to the US or bottled in containers and labels that meet US regulations. So, here are a couple more reasons to go to Europe.

I hope to be able to tell you where you can find this in the UK shortly.

Interesting, in Oregon we have the English Harbour 5 Year Antigua. You would think if someone is distributing it they would have their other products as well. If they can label the 5 year for sale in the US why not the 10 and 1981?

Hi Ed,
I happened to just post looking for a few rums I have not been able to find from my bookmarked sites I order from. I was seeking the ENGLISH HARBOUR RUM 1981 and Dos Maderas 5 + 3. I then found your post stating that the English Harbour Rum was not available in the US. I was wondering if it is not do you know a reliable and trustworthy site in the UK I can order it from then and can I get it shipped to me in the US?

Thanks
Chris

Royal Mile Whiskies has the 10 year and 1981; prices are in British Pounds so purchase and shipping will be expensive.

Here is the website: www.royalmilewhiskies.com.

Both are incredibly good rums, with the 1981 25 year old a rum only to brought out for special friends and occasion. And at Ј150 or $225, they had better be VERY SPECIAL FRIENDS.For me it was the 2nd best new rum I tasted last year...Closely behind Joy Spence's Appleton 30 year Old. They bought glide over your palate.

My Dad is off to Antigua next month with instructions from me to be on the lookout for English Harbour rums. Are they available in Antigua and if so, how much for the 10 year or the 1981? If not available, what should I tell him to look out for?

You see the FIVE year in BC as well, but that is as far as it goes I believe.

Pity about the older ones being hard to get .... I love the 5 yr. Gave my best friend a taste at Christmas and he loved it enough to get a bottle. Does anyone have any word on Canadian availability of the 10 and 1981?

Jumping on this thread a little late, but just had some very good news that a friend is visiting Antigua next week. Very specific instructions were given about securing a bottle of the Extra Old or the 1981. When I said "friend", I actually meant "rum mule."

And as for availablity in Canada, all I've found in BC or Ontario is the 5 yr.
