Default Sydney, Australia

Sydney is now blessed with three haunts to explore,

The delectable Victoria Rooms, Darlinghurst (about 20 rums, but they know what they are doing)

The over priced and inexperienced Rumdiaries in Bondi (81 rums at last count)

and the absolute must see for all rum lovers...Drum roll....

The Sugar Lounge, Manly beach... best damn rum menu in Australia, more than 95 rums on offer with bar staff who know how best to serve each and every one of them...and there is usually a bit of talent walking around as well.

cheers to that.

Default More places to Explore, Sydney

Another cracker for you to explore is the Bayswater Brasserie, in Kings Cross,
I just discovered this place recently , a good mix of 20 or so aged rums, some Agricoles, and some proven performers...plus they mix a mean cocktail.

http://www.bayswaterbrasserie.com.au/

If you are interested for the Sugar lounge as well..
Henry Afrikas - The Sugar Lounge

One of those great places that always has a bottle of something new and exciting they have sourced or been given from whereever... just for those who know to ask.

And the Victoria rooms, also already mentioned.. Don't you dare come to Sydney without visiting this gorgeous cocktail den.

Default New Rum bar in Sydney - Grandma's Bar!!

Just a friendly rummunity service announcement that there is a great new rum/tiki/cocktail bar in Sydney Australia (albeit open for 12 months now) that leaves the rest for dead.

Grandma's is at 275 Clarence Street (basement level), stocks about 40 rums and agricole rums, makes the best damn jaffles you've ever tasted and is owned & run by a passionate team of late 20's/ early 30's blokes who really know their rum and what consitutes great service.

Get there early, prop yourself at the bar and start sampling!

Regards,
Heath

ps. the website is not great but don't judge a book by its cover. contact the boys at info@grandmasbarsydney.com.au
