It would be a shame if those posts were lost forever, as I wrote a long, well-documented post definitively answering the question of what the best rum is, and also, the most correct way to drink it. I don't feel like doing the work over again, so I guess we'll just have to continue drinking what we like, the way we like it - no matter how wrong you all are!

I'm sad to confirm that 10 days worth of posts were lost due to mistake. Oh well, enjoy some rum and get over it, that's what I'm doing. I'm sorry for all the contributions to this forum that were lost, but hopefully this will be the last mistake for a while.
The good news is that the forum server won't have to be upgraded for a few years and I'll have more recent backups when that happens.
In the mean time, thank you for your patience.
