I'm on my way back to the Bay Area next week to drink some rum and hopefully meet a few more forum members.

Next week i'm going to drink Bacardi Gold rum. It undergoes prolonged aging in white oak barrels and charcoal filtration in order to develop a clean liqueur with unparalleled smoothness and it as taste of vibrant notes of spices, vanilla, lemon zest and toffee.

Not to bash Bacardi, but I don't generally consider a year or so to be prolonged aging. Carbon filtering will take the color out of the rum, so it is then colored with caramel so it will exhibit it's wonderfully rich golden hue.

Where ever you drop anchor, after the first drink is served, everyone wants to catch up on the news of friends on boats. Where's ?? is a common question. So to try and answer the question, Where's Ed? here's a clue where you might find me.
