Default Rum Documentaries

Have you seen interesting films on the history of rum making by particular distillers or regions in general? I was watching the videos Havana Club put together for their website, but they are relatively general in their scope. They are more short videos than a stand alone film. I am just curious to know what you may have seen and liked. Thanks.

There are only a couple of things that have been done about the whole industry. The Story of Rum by a Swedish film company is pretty good, but there are a couple of glaring mistakes in that film.

The is another film being made about the History of Rum that should be finished by next August. I'm working with the producer to identify locations and people to interview for that film.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

Do you care to speak to the glaring mistakes? If not publicly, maybe you could PM me. I am curious to know what to look for.
Also, please keep me apprised as to the release date for the upcoming film.

I remember seeing a short film about rhum production in Martinique a few months ago, but I can't remember if it was produced by one of the distilleries or by the tourist board. Perhaps someone else will know.

Hopefully no one minds my resurrecting this ancient thread, but I didn't see the sense in making a new one.

Does anyone know if the documentary that Ed mentioned was ever finished? Or if there are any new ones? I have plenty of rum books, but nothing in visual media.
