Default MGXO (How old is this bottle)

I received a bottle of MGXO about 3 years ago from a family member. It sat in my liquor cabinet until I recently gained a "taste" for rum. Now that the bottle is halfway empty I decided to pick up another one but the bottle style seems to have changed. -And now I just found out that they just remade the bottle style yet again...Does anyone know when my bottle was still in production?

Mount Gay Extra Old is the favorite mixing rum here, and we go through a fair amount of it.
I was still buying your bottle type up until a few months ago, my first purchase of the new bottle was in April or May. Tried 'em side by side, and the product seemed the same, just a new bottle.

I'll give it a try!

That bottle (the one on right) was around in the 90's and dates back to the 80's. That particular label puts it as an early 90's era. BTW, your newer bottle is now an "old" bottle! The new bottle is the decanter style with the thick glass bottom.

Oops,
I hadn't seen the bottle on the right before; as Rumdog said, I thought he was talking about the new bottle that started showing up the last few months. I have a picture of my 1703 bottle, but not one of the new Extra Old (they are similar) guess I'll take a picture this evening.
