a little more info please!

so after a long day of working on one of our c-130's aircrafts, i came across a website that was very instesting! Underwater Maturation! this premium rum from the cayman island is on top of my list for x-mas. the website has lots of info on the product, but was wondering if anyone has tasted this rum, or better if anyone knows where i can get a bottle with out having to go to the cayman island? so if anyone has additional info on Seven Fathoms rum it would be greatly appreciated.

There was a previous thread on this topic, Seven Fathoms.

It also received a Silver Medal at the recent MOR tasting in New Orleans, so participants in that event might have some familiarity with it.

It's not a bad rum, that has a distinctly different taste, but presently it is only available in the Cayman Islands. I was lucky, I had one of the in-laws pay a visit there recently who works for the local phone company, so when I found out she was there I was able to place an order. It wasn't cheap, about $50US for a 500ml bottle, but is a great conversation piece and a great addition to any rum lovers collection.
