Is it now illegal to ship 151 to US residences?

I've ordered a few bottles of high-proof rum online over the years, and had it delivered via UPS, from several of the larger online liquor stores. Recently I tried to order online, only to have my order canceled, and the vendor sent me an email saying that they couldn't ship 151. A few searches online also showed any bottle of 151 as being unable to ship. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any spirit 70% or greater abv is prohibited from being shipped via air carrier. It may just be a situation where they prefer to be safe than sorry...even if it is being shipped ground.
