I'd suggest asking the folks at Lush Wine (if not in stock) to bring in either the 375ml or the 750ml. Great people there. Please PM me with results either way.

I just had this amazing cocktail in SF last night that used allspice dram, it was called Black-water mule and it contained: Flor de Cana 18, lime, allspice dram and ginger beer. It was very gingery and you could definitely taste the allspice, and it was good! Ill have to look for the allspice dram around SF.

The cocktail sounds good. Do you have any information as to proportions?
The 375ml size of the allspice dram is available at bevmo, among others (they also have Regatta Ginger Beer, which is excellent).

I dont, unfortunately, but Im sure we could figure it out if we had the ingredients. Im not sure how strong the allspice dram is, however. Ill bet they would help me out if I called, maybe ill do that!

In SF I did see great pricing on the Dram at K&L and Blackwell's. If you want the 750ml bottle consider ordering from Hi-Times or Drinkupny.
Where did you go that you had the Black River Mule?

The black-water mule was at a place called Nopa, www.nopasf.com. They make many amazing drinks, and because of them I have recently been drinking real daquiris w/ silver rum, simple syrup and lime juice.

I like having both (and more!) on hand. I still have some of the Chuck’s Jamaican Pimento Dram (Allspice Liqueur) No. 3 and, also, some of the Chad & Christy’s Pimento Dram taken from recipes in Imbibe magazine. I made these last year and have used them in tons of cocktails and long drinks. Beyond them, I made some variants, too. From Jamaican Treats, I have a couple bottles of the Berry Hill Pimento Liqueur. All of them bring something different to the party. The St. Elizabeth is fantastic! But, I will never stop making my own, too.

Allspice
Berry Hill Pimento Allspice Liqueur is the gold standard. Next in line is Hamilton's Pimento Dram, then St. Elizabeth's Allspice Dram coming in third. These are the three main baselines I would say - that is, outside of making it yourself, although trying to top Berry Hill is a tall order.
It is interesting to note the consistency and color of the Hamilton variety (gummy/clear) versus the more traditional dark/lucid mixes.
ps. Berry Hill is only available in Jamaica and they are not allowed to ship the product the the U.S., unfortunately.

Hamilton Pimento Dram is the color it is because I don't add any caramel color. It is the natural color of the pimento (allspice) after macerating for five days in 170 Jamaican rum. I tried to import Berry Hill, the problem isn't that they aren't allowed to import to the US but rather consistency of production and availability of that product.
I would add to the previously mentioned products Bitter Truth Pimento Dram, and at the risk of sounding self-serving, Hamilton Pimento Dram is replacing that as well in bars in the US. I'm working on European and UK distribution but I don't want to do that until I can guarantee the same quality product in those markets.
