Default Ron Los Valientes

We've recently obtained the range of Los Valientes rums from Mexico and Nick has crafted another review for our site.

I hope this whets your appetite for a fantastic range of rums.

Another fantastic rum review. These kind of reviews put my style into shame, beautifully written.

I find it extremely interesting that the rum is a blend of sugar cane juice and molasses, is this a common method?

Paul

Los Valientes sound like a wonderful find. Thanks for sharing the experience. I'll keep an eye out for this brave old rum.

The review is terrific, as is the Atlantico review. But yours are excellent Count, so don't fret. I always read them and you have increased my sensitivity to all the rums you've written of.

When I read some of the reviews you guys write I am humbled by what I read. I am good at drinking rums but don't quite feel up to writing a review compared to a lot of the guys here. I will say reading your reviews inspire me to try new and different rums. So all I can say is thank you.

I just placed my order for 15 and 20 with my rep in Veracruz. He says that they are in 500ml bottlings? Anyway, I should have a few cases in 2 weeks.

Don't overlook the 10 year old Los Valientes if you can find it. It happens to be Ben's favourite in the whole range.

Now The Burr has started us on rum reviews, we're going to set Nick to work on a few more. He does have a certain way with words......and we're not short of interesting rums!

Classic example of an Englishman's use of understatement! The reviews are fantastic.

IPB is finally putting his classical Oxford public-school education to some good use....his mum will be so proud.

While we're in a traditional January slump Nick is setting to work on a few more reviews including some old staples. Diplomatico Exclusiva and the Banks XM 10 for starters - will keep you posted

I'm in the process of writing about XM 10 too, I look forward to comparing Nicks notes with mine! Good stuff.
