The breadfruit - authentic Jamaican grill - Phoenix, AZ

www.thebreadfruit.com

It has a rum bar and great food!

RumBar at The Breadfruit will feature a manifest
of 108 rums from Jamaica and the Caribbean.
Guests can expect a seasonal approach to new
exotic cocktails that are made to order with local
organic and tropical fruits with garden fresh herbs
and botanicals. Hand crafted liquors, infused rums
and triple frozen block ice will set a new standard
for rum cocktails in the southwest region.

The menu of cocktails include new original libations
such as The Bellafonte, Romancing the Stone and a
fresh take on classics like The Dirty Rumtini,
El Floridita Daiquiri and the Rumpolitan.

RumBar at The Breadfruit will offer rum tastings
with rotating flights of vintage rums, rum pairing
dinners, and exclusive membership to the 108
Club for the true rum aficionados.

While the vintage rums and cocktails are sure to
steal the show, foodies will be celebrating as well.
An expanded appetizer menu will feature old
favorites like Red Stripe Curried Prawns as well
as new delights such as Crispy Mango Shrimp
Rolls with Calypso Jerk Sauce, and Salted Green
Banana Chips

I have been following the announcement of the "first" rum bar in Phoenix for the past month. Can't wait to try it. Also I was apparently slow on the trigger as I had intended to mention this place sooner.

I would join you if you wanted to? I'm going to take my girlfriend there, but I would like to meet some people who can talk and teach me about rum. I'm planning on doing some tastings there..
