Default CLT D Concourse Rum Bar?

Hi all, I was in charlotte's airport tonight and on D concourse I noticed for the first time their large bar is actually a rum bar named "the original rum bar" with a giant Bacardi logo. Has anyone stopped in there? If so is it worth a sit during a lengthy layover? I only had 15min tonight so I couldn't grab any stock details. Hoping someone else gave in to curiosity

I saw it this summer, but I did not see any really unusual rums on display. (I saw Pyrat XO, Bacardi, etc.). However, I did not ask the staff about any additional stock.

I'm at the Bar tonight for the first time on my way home from Tampa. Rum selection is 100% Bacardi, but I think literally everything they produce. Plenty of other spirits once you leave rum and a good wine selection compared to most airport bars.

I'm having a mojito with Bacardi gold and let me tell ya the bartender on duty tonight makes an awesome mojito!! Perfect balance, mint comes through so nice yet doesn't over power the drink.

Sadly most of my trips through CLT don't have time for much of a layover, but if I ever have another opportunity I'll look forward to this place.

Aside from the mojito my favorite aspect is the giant Bacardi bat on the ceiling..very cool

Food note..if you need something quick and light..the conch chowder and Chips is a great 'pick me up' that goes well with a mojito.
