Robert, you inspired me to check into this, supposedly Diageo owns half the company, which they bought from Bundaberg in 2000. Heres a link: http://www.diageo.com/en-row/NewsAnd...+Group+Ltd.htm

For some reason, on Diageo's web page under their brands A-Z, Pampero is not listed, neither is 10 Cane.

10 Cane isn't because I believe Moet-Hennessey has that one or is that too under Diageo's golf umbrella? I really can't keep up anymore as these companies are changing parents and alliances like I change my under-wear!

10 Cane is owned by Moet Hennessy and the way it has been explained to me, Diageo owns 30% of that brand.

Oronoco, which is wholly owned by Diageo is sold in available in a number of states but is only being pushed in a few. Following the response to 10 Cane, Diageo appeared to pull back on Oronoco but both products are alive and well and will be coming to a liquor store near you whether you like it or not.

Zacapa has not filtered down to us yet. We get our Diageo rums from the States, Myers's and Captain Morgan. We haven't had any news from them yet either. We have our next shipment of rums coming in soon, but no Zacapa. Will they have enough stocks of aged rum to supply the obvious increase in demand, and will this ultimately effect the future blend of the rum?
I guess we will have to wait and see. Maybe they will start producing younger blends, maybe a 7 year old??
