So after some different simple mixes, I find I like the green label Ting better than the pink. It seems less sweet and more grape-fruity.

Tiare, I am slowly accumulating Tiki ingredients so I can make something more interesting. I read somewhere about the perils of getting butter to froth in drinks without separating, so I'm a little leery of the Pineapple delight. I'll save it for when I have time to really play around with the methods so I can get it right.

Don't spoil Ting with rum, it is just fantastic on it's own

For some reason, I figured the comment I'd get on this forum was that I shouldn't ruin the rum by adding Ting!

Rumelier has a point here..what i often do is saving some of the Ting from the can to drink it without rum, and the rest goes into the drink.

LPerry, don`t be afraid of trying out the Pineapple Delight, when i make it, i often get some little butter solids in the drink but as i serve it in the pineapple you dont see it and you definetily dont taste it in any other way than that you feel a smooth buttery taste in the background, its delicious.

Just keep the honey cream mix warm, a little bit above room temp and dry shake it first and then with ice hard and quick and youґre fine.

I'm surfing through the Mixers, Water, Ice and Glasses threads to get ideas. I'm a year late and many dollars short to this here party, but:

1) Ting showed up in the International aisle of my great big Kroger, right between some mysterious asian paste and those funny aqua-colored cans of pork & beans from England.

2) No intentional heresy intended by leaving out the rum, but I do know from experience that Ting mixes pretty well with anything tequila-related.

It does! definetily and it mixes well with mezcal too and with cachaca and gin and of course, vodka but i havent tried that one bec i dont like vodka. So conclusion is that Ting is a universal cocktail redeemer.
