Question 8 - I have a problem with the answer that includes 'white rum is easier to make than dark rum'. As a sweeping generalisation it doesn't stand up - are all dark rums harder to make than an Elements Eight Platinum (3 types of still, 3 strains of yeast, 4 years aged, carbon and charcoal filtered)?

Elements 8, like all rums, started out as a white rum straight from the still.

There are all kinds of processes attributed to making some white rums but they are condensed clear from the still. The question doesn't ask whether it is harder to make dark rum X or white rum Y. Certainly a case could be made that some white rums are harder to make than some white rums, but you are comparing ALL dark rums to ONE white rum.
