Welcome to... The Rum Love Connection.
"Fun-loving rum enthusiast and recipe fanatic from Stockholm, loves to mix exotic concoctions, make fancy syrups, collect Tiki stuff, practice orchidaceous rituals. Enjoys exotic fruits and spices from the four corners of the globe. Looking for like-minded love interest. Let's fill my spare room with a thousand rum bottles from our favorite islands. We'll feed each other fresh shaved coconut, ripe bananas and firm root vegetables from Asia as we sip extravagant and flamboyant elixirs of love and secret infusions of the gods. Wearing nothing more than a few well-placed orchid flowers, we'll rub coconut oil over our skin and wrestle nude on cold marble floors by torchlight until the wee hours of the morning."

Burr, you forget the secret inhaling of the powdered forbidden fruits liqueur dusted with 24k gold to the sound of distant Bora Bora drumming…and the bathing in cool spring water covered by a thousand fragrant tiare flowers sipping rare and precious high end rums by the sunset.

Well, I don't have a basement pony collection anymore.
But the rums have a much nicer place than they did before:

If this keeps up, I am moving to Sweden. Where do I sign up for this service? I dont have 1000, but would 125 bottles do? I like to share.....
Back to the thread.
Also, try your Daquiri's with simple syrup, and sugar cane syrup. You would be surprised how the sugar component can change the flavor profile of the drink. I am sure that all of our mixologists can attest to that. Also, try key lime.

All this sounds too good to be true. Isn't it a little cold in Sweden to be doing anything without the fur coat of some endangered species firmly secured over your body? At least in April.

A splendid concept Robert! Perhaps you could the coin the term R-Date,or R-Harmony.
I would propose a section for BDSM fans (Bartending, Distillation techniques, Single barrel rum, Mature rum).
I have a gallon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a roll of Saran Wrap...Let the games begin!

I don't know about Sweden but in Finland it is quite warm. I suspect it isn't much different over there.
