Default Don Lorenzo coconut rum woe-bum

Hello to one and all,

This may have been asked many times and I did a serach in the forums in case if it was ever answered but there were no specific results to this. I am hoping or praying, at least, to see if I am able to purchase this particular product on the net somewhere or someone. I did some research and found that it is not imported into the US. It was made in Nassus bahamas and I believe they sell it in certain stores in the carribean. This is a long shot but I was wondering what options if possible am I able to have this unless certian international, state, and local laws prevents it to be shipped. This would make a great xmas present and new years is around the corner. I checked on ebay, craigslist, google, and the liquor links that are provided on this site/forum. If it cannot be done then so be it at least I know I tried. If I had the chance to go to the bahamas I would but school and work just keeps me in my cold city of chicago BRRR. Send some of that hot sun up to the windy city if one of you posters is in the carribiean isles please.

This is a great and very informative website by the way. I never knew there was this many rum lovers on the internet not to mention the wealth of knowledge behind it. I googled Don Lorenzo and this site was the first to come up.

Just in case what would be a substitute that would sell in the US area?

Sorry for my long post as it is my first but if I can provide any information let me know.

Thanks & Merry Xmas Happy Holidays great RumLovers of the internet.

Welcome to the forums. I see you're in the windy city so you may be in some luck. Check Sams main store on the bottom shelf. I saw some Don Lorenzo rum there a few months ago and it just might still be there.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

Every time I see something like this, I am just more amazed by your powers of recollection, Ed.
