Getting around the islands can be half the adventure of discovering new rum.

Paul can I reserve my place at the front of the line and perhaps I will find the seminar room next time around!!
Although I managed to find the seminar room, it was only when I got there that I realised that there was a lift.

I was hoping to meet you and find out more about the Turks & Caicos Islands. Maybe next year.

I'm not sure what the crystal ball says for next year, I might be moving back to the Bahamas if I can find a similar job that encourages me to drink rum!! It has got too expensive to live down here. I had fun in the UK though, seeing family and friends and drinking loads of rum at the fest. I was checking peoples name tags to see if I recognised anybody, but only saw Mr.Hamilton, Mr.Burr and Mr.Burrel. Hopefully will see you at the next one or in Miami??

Well, I hope the two of you get to meet in the near future! Now, stop
high jacking my thread! (tongue in cheek)
Any more suggestions for rum from Barbados? Or, are there any rums available from other Islands, that are obtainable in Barbados, that are not available here in the US that are must have?

I found the Banks XM 10 in a supermarket in Barbados. That's not in the states and it's gold

Sorry, back to the topic.
ESA Field is the most popular white rum on the island. Olde Brigand is a nice treat too, as is Stades. Falernum is widely available and a staple of most rum shops. Coyopa is from Barbados, but not sure if it is still available. RL Seale's 10 Year Old is fun. I drank mainly one of my favourites while in Barbados, Mount Gay Extra Old, it was so nice to be lying in a hammock at our guest house, sipping a fine rum and listening to the Atlantic waves crashing in on the shore.
As small size bottles are very popular in Barbados maybe your friends should buy as many different ones as possible, then you get to taste more than just one or two rums.

Isn't Banks a Demeraran rum that is bottled in Barbados?

Here's the link.

Apologies for my post election night delirium. I was confusing DIH with DDL, which maintains a bottling plant on St Kitts.

What Rob said.
