Default introduction

Hi Folks, I grew up drinking Black Seal in Bermuda, but now live in Comox BC Canada. Just completed a cruise down south and brought back 14 bottles of some great rum. Looking forward to talking to you. Jim.

Hi MadJames and welcome to the MoR.

14 bottles! How did you clear customs?

Depending where you live, you can bring alot of booze back to Canada. In AB you can bring 9 litres back before you need a permit. You just have to pay duty on anything over 750 dollars.

Good for you! In Quebec we're only allowed to bring back 1.14l before paying taxes. With 9 liters, I can't imagine what my collection would look like now!
