Default Introduction

Hello, I recently read a brief article in Cigar Aficionado regarding good rums and enjoying them with cigars. I purchased several different bottles and found that I really enjoyed dark rum. By sheer luck, I happened to find a couple older bottles of Pyrat Planters Gold at the local Elk's Club and enjoyed those in short order. I look forward to sampling many more different types and learning more about fine sipping rums!

Welcome to the forums kmf. It sounds like you are on your way to finding a few more favorite rums. A good cigar and a glass of rum are a great way to spend some time waiting for the snow to melt.

You will find many a co-connoisseur here when it come to rum and cigars, i am unfortunately not one of the (smoking anything makes me ill) but that being said i am glad to have you here so that you can help take up the slack in my understanding regarding my beloved spirit.-- That goes for all of the co-connoisseurs out there also!
