Oregon invades!
Hey all,
I am from Oregon. I know very little about rum, but I recently attended my friends 40th birthday party and I had my first taste of good Rum (I am usually a Whiskey guy) and have been drinking it ever since. I am looking foward to learning what is good and just learn about Rum in general.

Welcome to the forums. There's a lot to learn about rum, but you're lucky that there are some good rums in Oregon and more on their way to your state.

The Old Mill Gold Rum is locally in Tualatin OR. I have no idea if that is considered a quality rum due to my own ignorance, but I was very impressed.

I acquired a bottle of Old Mill Gold Rum a few weeks back and find it quite enjoyable,,,,very mellow and light. I use it strictly as a sipper as it completely disappears when mixed with anything.
