Default New Year's Resolutions

It's that time of year again when we tend to reflect back on what we've done or not done in the last twelve months.

Living a life of no regrets is easier said than done. Making New Year's resolutions is one thing that helps us focus on what's important in our lives.

Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

For me it's simple. I'm going to get the next book out in 2010. It's official.

Rock on Ed! I normally don't make new years resolutions as I often just get sick of something and decide to change it, but...My New Years Resolution is gonna be to pick that book up as soon as its out! Looking forward to it big time.

I heartily adopt Ron James' first resolution!

I am also resolved to spend as much money As I can in continuing to improve my appreciation of rum.

I too will take on RonJames' first resolution. Hopefully your book will be available in Canada.

I also resolve to:
2) Continue to acquire new rums in the interest of broadening my horizons....and;
3)...To actually getting around to opening them and drinking more rum!

Happy New Year to all and may everybody have a safe and happy New Year's Eve celebration!

I'd love to see pics of Ben's and RonJames' completed bars. It's been a dream of mine to have a bar in the basement.....but I need to develop my basement first....

It's taken me the full year but I managed to get my new years resolution up and running. My home bar is functional. Wife's gallbladder removed, inlaws coming up to freeze there buns off, getting out of grenada with my skin still on, and more difficulties than I am glad are behind me. Next year there will still be difficulties but atleast I'll be able to face them with a drink in my hand and a smile on my face. Off traveling till the new year, see you all next year and have a VERY merry christmas and a happy new year. With rum of course.
