Welcome to the forums. Most US online stores are very particular about shipping to Canada though some in Europe and Germany will ship anywhere in the world. Since it generally considered illegal to ship alcohol over international borders without paying all of the taxes I can't recommend anyone in particular in this case.

what province? Access to a good variety of rum all depends on your neighboring state to the south.

Hours of Wealth, I feel your pain. The province with the best selection is Alberta, because they went private with liquors, but it is the most expensive at the same time. For example, you can find Santa Teresa 1796, but they sell it at over 70$ ! The only advantage we have over US is that we have access to Cuban rums.

Try Royal Mile Whiskies in Scotland, they have a great selection of rums from all over the world.

They also have a shop in London with a very good selection of rum, and they even have sugar cane syrup.

For good rums at better prices...your best bet to is make a trip to the US or to NS.

I live in BC and the liquor tax is outrageous so I usually make a trip to Washington state or visit family in the southern US.

Nova Scotia has a good selection of rum considering the history with rum there. (I'm originally from NS). However liquor stores will not ship across provincial borders.

I second that Jmac...taxes in BC are brutal...but its to 167% mark-up prior to taxes that really hurts.

Back to the topic...

What's the liquor structure in NB?

Just Gov. stores? or private stores too?

If its the later, I'd get a hold of someone at the Gov. branch and ask what rums are brought in but not stocked...you may be surprised at what is available for special order.

NB liquor stores are controlled by the provincial government, as every province exception made of Alberta. The selection is basically the same as Quebec and Ontario, but they have the Gosling's Reserve, maybe because they are nearer to Bermuda. Prices are actually a bit cheaper. ED15 is 41$ compared to 55$ in Quebec/Ontario.
