Default And a Battle of Rum

Hey guys,
Big rum fan and pretty new member to the forum. Just wanted to invite you to swing by and check out my new rum blog... it's not a real review site (plenty of those on the web with much better qualified bloggers), it's just me having fun with some head-to-head battles of rum as I learn more and develop my "nose."

Cheers,
Julian

Default nice idea.

Hey RidiQles,

I really like your idea used for this rum blog. Wish you luck with some aroma recognitions. The human nose is in direct connection with the brain so it can recognize more tastes/aromas than the tongue. I recommend getting each one of the notes in a glass separately and just smell each one of them to save them in your memory...hope it helps.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys, I am looking forward to the match-ups and seeing where my palate takes me!!
That's a great idea, pkazimir. I have been paying attention a lot more to every smell I encounter since I started this project. Putting together a reference kit should be very helpful.
