Old Pyrat Cask 23 vs the newer Patron version?
Now I know from my own experience that the old "Planter's Gold Pyrat XO" is much better than the newer Patron "Pyrat XO", but do you think the same applies to the Cask 23's?
I found (& bought) an old Cask bottle today for $212 (had the Hoti medallion on front of box), and they had a second bottle, but I think the second bottle was the newer Patron version (all wooden box with no Hoti medallion on the front).
I'm curious if anybody has experience with both (or either) of these bottles. Do you think they will taste differently like the XO's?
