Default Books/Good Reading on Sugar Cane/Distilling

Heya,
I really want to study more about the sugar cane plant. Any suggestions on what books to look for in the library? Also, if anyone know...how do you become a master distiller/blender? (Are they even the same thing??) Plus, does anyone know any good books on rum distilling?

Thanks!!
Cheers.

Rum by David Bloom is a good book, and a great coffee table book. I don't think there is a lot about sugar cane in it...but it gives you a lot of good info for a cheap price.
