Default Greetings from Seattle, WA!

Hello Rum lovers! I've been a fan of rum for a few years now, and have received a lot of helpful information from the MoR. I finally decided to join so that I could throw my 2 cents in if I had info to share.

I live in Seattle, Washington, and manage the special order selection of a liquor store in the University District. Anybody in the area knows that I keep a wide variety of rums on hand and am always looking for new ones to try.

I look forward to participating and being a more active citizen in the world of rum

Welcome to the forums and thank you for your work to bring more small producer products to the northwest. I know it is a challenge to stock new products, and even some old ones, since small brands are special order only and it takes more work and a lot of patience to get these products on your shelf. And you've got bean counters looking over your shoulder seeing that other products sell faster without recognizing that without new products your store will be like so many others. Only by showing a track record of successfully introducing new products will the public really be served.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

Default Products are available if you dig hard enough...

... yes, even in a control state. I was happy to get my hands on some Ron Abuelo Centuria for my customers and am always looking for new rarities to bring in. That's the beauty of being a spirits enthusiast as well as the buyer for a store. Magic happens

Ed, if you're ever in the Seattle area, I would love to shake your hand. And anybody else, swing by WSLCB #096 to chat rum!
