After a loooooong day of chores,....I decided to try your version of Hot Buttered Rum. Ground up the spices fresh and added them to the batter before taking my dog out on her nightly walk. The frost was on the Pumpkin tonight, so it only heightened my anticipation of a piping-hot Rum nightcap. But I took the liberty of upping the Rum ratio a tad.....well OK, a bunch. It was magnificent!

Tonight i am having Neisson Special Reserve...AWESOME!
i will follow with a Plantation Barbados 5, because. . . well it is great and i m poor....

Poor? You're drinking Neisson Special Reserve at $60 a bottle, and for breakfast no less. I wish I was that poor.

Valid point.

It was a gift and i have a policy.... Once the bottle is 'half-way' it is fair game.

In other words, when it is less than half full any reason to sip is a legitimate reason--no matter how spendy the bottle is..
