Default hawaii rum

I just booked a trip to this tropical paradise. I have been doing a little reading about the Haleakala Distilleries rums. Their website is absolute crap, doesnt even tell you about their product. I managed to find that information elsewhere. But what i would like to know is which of their products is the best, does anyone have experience with their selections?

If you have a lay over in San Diego and bring me a bottle of Havana Club I'll tell you.

I do not know much about that rum. A freind just came back and gave me a bottle of Koloa Kaua'i Gold Rum. It is very mild in flavor and somewhat high on the alcohol burn. I just had nip of JMR Rich & Spicey One though. Which might be why I can barely taste the Koloa.

I do know Hi-Times in Costa Mesa, Ca USA used to or may still carry the Maui Rum (Haleakala).

The pic is two of the three rums Haleakala make
