Italian Soda
So I was just sipping on lemon Italian soda, and I was thinking: This would be a damn good mixer. The brand I had was 20% lemon juice, with real sugar, and sparkling water. It had a nice lemon taste, though not quite the same as lemon juice, but it could go really nice with something with a good citrus note.
Cheers. - S

Though I enjoy the San Pellegrino product this one happens to be Galvanina, which is about the same price as the San Pellegrino product...for a 750 mL bottle versus a roughly 200 mL bottle...

It sounds like that would be just the mixer for a measure to taste of something like Don Q or Flor de Cana 4 year old white, if you can find it.

I have that small bottle of Italian lemon drink here. It's quite tart. I agree with Ed on the Flor de Cana Extra-Dry White 4 year old rum recommendation, or the Don Q Cristal.
I'd like to try it also in a petit punch style mix with a bit of cane syrup and a rich white rhum agricole.

I also believe it would be great with some JW&N overproof rum and some lime and ice.
