Default Shall I?

Seems like the stocks of the Bicentenario run empty here in germany.
But I found a site still having this one. It sells for 150€...
I'm getting nervous Shall I buy it?!?!?

I've got a line on one here for $315, but I'm having trouble deciding whether to spend that much for a rum I know nothing about...any thoughts out there on what it's like?

RVD, I've had it and I can confirm that it is a truly beautiful rum. Only you can decide, however, whether or not it is worth the outlay.

You will not go wrong with it. My wife thought the bottle was nice. She likes the outside while I get to enjoy the inside.

I have enjoyed 6 bottles of this Rum over the past years and it is very special, rare and distintive. I am venezuelan (from italian origin), I was born in Venezuela. I know Santa Teresa factory and it is one of the best Rum makers in my country.

I am not in agreement with the price but with the spirit inside the bottle I am 100% satisfied.

Good luck, hope you decide to buy it and then provide opinion in this forum. I will be very happy to see a positive comments on this rum. I have not doubt this is one of the best Rums in the caribbean...

Thanks, Fabio.

Hei,
Let me correct my last post after tasting the last bottle of ST Bicentenario I had in my bar: this is one of the most rare rums I have tasted. Very interesting. Let me see if I can provide an opinion later...

Review is finally up for this rum. Short version: speaking for myself, it's too much price for too little premium. Good rum, mind you, just not for that kind of money. I can get better ones for one third the price.
