New England - that's in the US

Where it all began in the colonies, rum is again becoming the spirit of choice. Have you seen anything on the shelves that shouldn't be missed by others.

Aargh!

I will be in Mass later that day, but not by 4. Shame, it sounds like it will be awesome. Hope that you have a blast, Krusty.

I will do my best to get down there for the aftermath just in case there are open bottles to help finish off.

Drove down, but could not get here fro the tasting. Hope that it was fun. Unfortunately, the store was closed, also. So zero rum, but I did get to drive on that scenic section of 128... Rough day.

If they do it again, I will do my best.

Did it go well?

Default Rum tasting!

The rum tasting was a great success! I heard from somebody that several hundred people came through in the 3+ hours! It was interesting to introduce people to the world of agricoles - a few hated it, but really liked the ti punches that I was serving!

The highlight of the day for me was talking to the Abuelo rep for a while and she said *wait - i think I have something in my car that is special - it was given to me last week - maybe you'd appreciate it. It turned out that she had a bottle of Centurio! We opened it and sampled - it was really amazing!

Also making an appearance in addition to the ones listed above were RZ23, Pamparo, and Bacardi Reserva Limitada!

Overall it was an excellent tasting, with more then a dozen top quality rums to try - a rum lovers jackpot! AND it was great to be able to introduce the 'average' consumer, who happened to wander in during the event, to the fine world of rum - we certainly opened some eyes!!!
