Default Ron Viejo de Caldas?

Anybody else tried / enjoy this somewhat young Colombian rum?

I have a bottle, and I tasted it once briefly, and thought is was not bad. I need to spend a little time with it though, to form a true opinion.

Hank, glad to hear I'm not completely alone.

I found the Viejo to be decent enough to sip, although I wouldn't classify it as strictly, nor higher sipping quality. While it isn't the most versatile rum I've tasted... around here it's priced nicely which always apeases me.

For what ever odd reason, I'm also drawn to this rums hue as I find myself staring at the contents resting in the bottle when I pull it out.
