Well, what cigars did you pair to each rum, and how did they hold up?

I'll smoke any fine cigar whilst sipping a Mount Gay Extra Old!

Of them I would think the Zacapa and the Appleton align best with my tastes. I find the subtleties of Zacapa can be pretty quickly overwhelmed by a strong cigar, but it works well with them anyway because it is sweet. I like the rums of Jamaica as a rule with medium bodied cigars, so I'd think the Appleton paired well with most smokes you tried. Never tried the Tommy stuff but then I don't wear the shirts either!

I wouldn't want to say what Cigars I paired up (I work for a company so I do not want to come off as if i'm promoting the brand I work for)... But,

Most of the people at this tasting we not into Rum. In fact only a couple of people said they even have Rum on a monthly basis even Bacardi.

But......The most popular was Pyrat then Zacapa 23. Appelton was also spoken highly of.
