wow rumelier, I couldn't wait for lunch so I looked ahead. Thats an awesome photo tour of River Antoines. Puts me in the mood. I know it isn't premium sipping rum but small places like this that have been doing it "their way" since the dawn of time hold tremendous respect from me.

That's exactly how I found the photos!! It really has me thinking about a trip next year sometime, there seems to be some cheap, good hotels.

River Antoine is an amazing place. When I first visited there in '93 there weren't any light bulbs in the distillery area, but this wasn't the only distillery without electricity in the islands.

There is a book called, Red Rum Punch about this distillery which gives some good insight into Grenada after the American rescue in '89.

There's plenty to do and see in Grenada, I wrote much of my first two books anchored off the south coast of Grenada in one of the most delightful places in the Caribbean to spend a few months.

I've gotta sit down with the wife and plan out some stuff...meaning grenada. Funny thing is when I was recently talking about going she thought I was talking about the southern region of spain.

And that would be Granada. Not a bad place to visit either. The Alhambra is worth the price of a ticket. Your New England accent must have confused her Spanish ear!

HAHA! I won, the misses has agreed that we are honeymooning in Grenada the island! For the 1st time ever thank god for pricey euros and tanking US Dollar. Thank you Rum Runner and Rumelier as well as you two were also pivotal in her decision. Just booked the tickets for end of july!
