Getting around the islands can be half the adventure of discovering new rum.

Congratulations, Brugal Siglo de Soro is hard to find. From the sounds of things you are going to have enough rum to get you through the holidays.

Pictures from the trip. Regrettably, Anguilla Rum Ltd. does not allow photographs to be taken inside the actual factory.

A rum baby-keg in St. Maarten...I've never seen anything like this before...

Total haul, including 2 bottles of Pyrat Cask 1623, Havana Club 7 Year Old, Brugal Siglo de Soro, Appleton Estate Reserve, and a collection of flavored rums and liqueurs my wife bought.

Nice haul! Especially those two Casks. How much were the casks if I may ask?

I'll be interested in hearing about the Savage when you crack the bottle.

The Casks were being sold for $180US each. Not as significant a discount as I had hoped, but $50-$70 off of what I typically see when I find it in stores here in California.

Bought one for myself and one for my brother, who is a big fan of Pyrat rum and starting to slowly adopt my habit.

There's a chance that I'll be doing that on December 5th, Repeal Day.

Default Have fun

If you can make your way over to Tortola and Cane Garden Bay, there is the Calwood Dist. there. It's pretty cool. The guy that owns it is a trip. Signs everywhere that say "Pictures $3 or you have to buy a bottle of rum."

I'm pretty new to the rum game, and that was my first dist.

Have a great time.
