Do i just cracked open the Mt. gay extra old. Some good stuff!!!. It reminded me of a lot of the Eldorado 15 in smell and taste execpt its smell and taste were not as strong as the Eldorado. I suspect that it would compliment a milde cigar nicely.

Does anyone share my sentiments?

I enjoy the Extra Old- I drink it on the rocks with a CAO Gold or an Ashton Classic. The rum mixes well if you want to make a Rum & Coke with class.

Excellent rum, that does pair well with a mild or mild to medium cigar. It is tasty with a Monte White Label, also. It can be consumed with a stronger cigar, as long as the cigar is more leathery and spicy, and not strong with cedar or wood flavors, IMHO.
