Beginner's rum blog

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to rum and am trying to make sense of an often confusing rum world and increase my knowledge of all aspects of sugarcane spirits. I'll write a travel journal of sorts as I make my way through all the info available in books, on blogs and on this forum. It's about what I learn, where I learn it and my take on it all. It'll be about the rum and the brands, the history and the curiosities. Nice! I just scanned two articles and like your content. The home page could be a bit more visual though.

Interesting blog so far, I like your articles. Might I suggest darkening your font (it's hard to read even on a desktop monitor). Also, think of adding an index somewhere. As you add more and more content, your older work will disappear and be hard to find.
