Default bar equipment

hey rumlovers,

I really like to have my rum shaked/stirred/swizzled with good bar tools. could you recommend me a eshop where i can buy some japanese bar equipment? i dont really want to share my credit card with an unsecure eshop on the website. Best if the shop is in the states. shipment to dominican republic is easy.

also did you hear about the swizzle stick? Stanislav Vadrna one of the travelling mixologists is playing with it every time. I read also something about it in the Wayne Curtis book (and a bottle of rum). any idea where to get that? would like to try it.

thanks

The best place to get Japanese bar equipment right now is Cocktail Kingdom. They've got all kinds of good stuff, along with some great cocktail books, bitters, and more.

You can only get swizzle sticks in the islands. There are probably some trees growing them in the DR. I've seen them in Jamaica, Grenada, Tobago and Martinique.
