Limited Edition Rum
Haus Alpenz has released a very limited quantity of aged Scarlet Ibis Trinidad Rum at 98 proof for Death and Co in Manhattan. It will be sold in a few select retail stores but isn't going to last long.

Yea i have seen that...lucky you people who can get your hands on that one! if i was you i would hurry up!
Unfortunatley none of all those great Alpenz things are not sold in Europe and it will take long..
If i want to order them from the US i`ll have to pay 135 usd for the shipping.

Eric, from Haus Alpenz, is pretty busy this week but as soon as time permits he'll post more information on where this rum can be purchased.

I have reviewed the website shared by Ed.
I noticed that they have Falernum and an Allspice liquer. Has anyone tried these? whats the verdict?

We may wait for the Scarlet Ibis to hit this coast, but the Allspice Dram and Batavia Arrack seem like necessities for cocktail use.
We've had plans to make up a bit of Falernum using W&N overproof and one of the recipes found on the web, but put them aside when word of the John Taylor's came around. If the delay persists, then it may be time to make our own. Why is real Falernum so hard to locate?
