Default Found this bottle in my new!

Hey all. I am new to these forums, not a big rum drinker, but found it through Google. Anyways...

Found a bottle of Ron Anejo Anniversario Pampero in a closet in the house my wife and I recently purchased. I eventually got around to researching it and here I am.

I have seen it listed on many websites, but they all seem to have a different bottle than me, or the pictures I have seen have English on them somewhere, whereas mine doesn't.

What I am really wondering is, is this worth anything to anyone? It is different than all the others I have seen. It has stamped numbers and symbols in the glass on the bottom.

If I drink it, or set it out for guests, it won't really be enjoyed to the level that a true rum drinker would enjoy it.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting pictures of your bottle. That is a bottle of duty free Pampero Anniversario. Since it is bottled at 750ml and the Bv 385 note tell me that it isn't really old but the bottom line is that it's a nice bottle of rum.

Personally since you don't think you could enjoy it now, put it away, learn about some other rums, then treat yourself to a nice bottle of rum. On the other hand, that rum may not be to your taste.

When I dream up a better job, I'm going to take it. In the meantime, the research continues.

Thanks Ed. I'm going to put it away for now. Maybe one day I'll learn to appreciate it!
