Here is a musing: i hope that it doesn't come out wrong...

When i am looking for an inexpensive, 'neutral-flavored' mixer i don't look at Sobieski (which is actually quite decent for Vodka-@ $17 a 1.75) i look at Don Q or Bacardi both usually floating around a dollar less. THough to be honest i am not usully looking for a 'neutral-flavored' mixer.

Just saying. . .

.5oz El Dorado 12yr old
4 oz of Cola
.5oz of Cold water

vichal godspeed, if you Old Monk suggestion was for me, Unfortunately I don't have access to that Rum.

Hower I am drinking a tiny bit of Cola and Malibu Coconut Rum, not a classic I know but it's enjoyable.

Pink Pigeon is fantastic. So delicious. Great clean rum with real vanilla infused..So tasty.
